By 1974, Bass Pro Shops became very popular and its first catalog first was mailed out. Soon, it became the worlds largest mail order sporting goods store. Around 1995, Bass Pro Shops Sportsmans Warehouse opened in Atlanta, Georgia, its first store outside the state of Missouri.
